I am new to this site and whilst you and 'Centurion' may be a couple of Humpty Dumpties concerning all matters of emigration and Qantas policy, specifically regarding baggage allowance, stopovers, connecting flights, etc. etc. ad infinitum, some of us are just occasional travellers and my comments were intended for the OP and those who are not so worldly wise.
This is my last post, as I find the last two responses particularly brusque and may I say patronising, especially to those of us who are just trying to give some friendly advice based on our experience.

My post offered information on which airlines currently operate an increased migration luggage allowance on request as most other carriers have now withdrawn the allowance offer. It also pointed out another way to economically ship goods to arrive to your destination at a fraction of the airlines charges.
Its a shame its your last post and you really shouldn't take things that personally. Its an internet forum.
