Wha... ? The links don't work. I presume you are worried about the water shortages?

I will still be going to Australia despite the recent problems. They still have beer don't they?

Seriously, they have had it bad in some areas of late, but it seems the Aussies seem to have a much more organised approach to water usage in a dry spell, I have just been reading about the car washing and gardening restrictions etc. It would seem that we could learn alot of lessons in Britain from these simple steps, rather than just imposing blanket hosepipe bans and threatening people with standpipes!

Dear Parin

I was concerned when I saw your posting I thought some poor soul who like my family are desperate 4 a visa had been refused. The Water issues are nothing new in Oz and I admit a concern... but sorry not putting me off...

Not put off at all, were (hopefully!) off to FNQ (Cairns), I think were allowed to waste water there!
