I found a way around that, I bought a Toyota Prius. 20 pounds a year road tax, 850k's on a tank. It is actually cheaper to run here than our Getz in Australia where we had to pay over $800 for 2 lots of insurance.

Did you check out the battery life and replacement costs

Yeah the batteries are fine, if one cell breaks you can replace it cheaply. If the whole thing breaks then it's about 400 quid off Ebay.

I was down Chapel St today. I saw a dog turd (someone had clearly had the previous misfortune of not seeing it!) AND the Salvos and Sacred Heart had enough retro furniture and West German pottery to keep your average pretentious Melburnian in over latte conversation for days!

The best of luck with that

Do you know something we don't?(!)

I saw poo all over the footpath outside the post office today.

Fresh horse poo.

As always it comes down to what you think is a fair rate, for some it's 2.2 for others it's 2 and still others I have seen talk about 2.5.

It wouldn't make much difference either way but I'm not really wedded to any number from personal preference....to me dividing the average salaries seems to be as good a rough guide as you'll get so that's where 2.2 comes from but I'm sure it is only a rough guide.

That's definitely something we get a lot of here. In fact, you never see horse riders bagging and binning it :D

Thank you, given their reliability record I'm not sure I need it though.

I doubt it, they have a fantastic record for reliability and batteries rarely have problems and as I said it is possible to cheaply buy individual cells in the unlikely event of an issue.
