Back & forth with our littleone again.
Hiya,
Ive mentioned a few times about our youngest Louise(4) having bowel problems, well today she had her first appointment with a specialist at the Northwest Specialist Centre (Dr Barry Steinberg).
Strangely enough the medication she was on back in the UK had her problems under control until she had her teeth fixed a couple of months ago here & it seems to have upset everything again
Anyway Dr Barry was very thorough, took his time with Louise & listened to her background, changed her medication & ordered further investigation to be done,we have to attend the Holy Spirit Hospital in 2weeks for her to have a Barium Enema done.
Shes had scans & x-rays in the past & everything showed up normal but as Louise has had this problem from birth, doc says that in itself shows there must be a problem somewhere & the chances are the surgeon will have to see her with the possibility of a small op to remove a little bit of the bowel.
We faced all this back in the UK,least she was that little bit younger then, little less aware of what was going on,really dread the thought of putting her through all this again we're both worried,we dread going down this road again but hopefully this time we will find a solution.

This must be hard for you Donna but sometimes a fresh approach from different doctors can get somewhere and make all the difference.
A new set of tests, well lets just hope it gets sorted.
And dont forget the rule that kiddies that are poorly, must have presents, gifts to name a few. Its the Law.

Here's hoping they get to the bottom of the problem. As the other poster said, sometimes a fresh person can see something that was missed or not evident before. I really hope it goes ok for you.
