Default Back to the 80's!

I have been out shopping the past week or two with a 'style consultant'. My quest was twofold - 1 to find smart casual wear for lunches, parties etc and the 2nd was to find racewear. OMG the 80's are back, certainly where racewear is concerned - She got me trying on some suits by Harry Who and George Gross and I just couldn't do it - for you woman who are old enough you will remember the 'pleat' around the waist with ruffles below etc etc she couldn't understand me when I said NO NO NO - Anyway got home yesterday and started sorted out some pictures from that era just to see if I was right and yes I was - I looked bloody awful then and this has not changed with time!

I know how you feel. My kids are wearing this sort of stuff now. Problem is, it looks better on them than it ever did on me

I don't know about common but I just didn't have any idea on where to shop for clothes - I have a lot of socialising to do with my husband's job and my old faithfuls were having too many trips out!

A girlfriend that I met here used her and recommended I give her a try. She is very good and at least I now know where to go that isn't just DJs or Meyers!

Nice one, i'd love that, so long as my hubby paid the bill at the end of the day though

Took my husband's credit card out with me. This has his full name on it and I signed his name everytime - Only one shop said "Oh I see you are having a good time with your husband's credit card" and then proceeded to put the sale through!
