Babysitters in Sydney
Hi
We moved to Sydney a couple of months ago and haven't had a night out without our daughter. Can anyone recommend any babysitting services in Sydney and share any experiences. Thanks |

Re: Babysitters in Sydney
This crowd posts ads at playgrounds in posh areas of Sydney:
http://www.meetasitter.com.au/ I don't know anything about them, so this is not a recommendation. But if you're going to leave your child with a stranger you should at least look them over first. |

Thanks You could also look at the local TAFE to see if anyone in the early childhood education courses might like to pick up some extra cash. |
Re: Babysitters in Sydney
Every time I've moved, I've used the childcare workers from my kids' childcare centre. You know they have been vetted and they like kids - hopefully ;) - so they should be pretty safe. Even if your daughter doesn't go to childcare, you could go to your local centre, introduce yourself and ask. The girls are often happy to pick up babysitting work as extra income as they are underpaid and undervalued IMHO.
Also, chat with other mums/dads at the playground and ask them if they can recommend anyone. Local community centre/maternal health centre/neighbourhood house is also a good place to ask for referrals and check out ads. Look here as well findababysitter.com.au |
