Default Baby Food Customs Control

Hi

We are flying into Melbourne on the 2nd Jan with a-nearly-1-year-old son. Does anyone know what Oz customs will let us bring in with regard to baby food - sealed jars / SMA cartons etc?

Thanks

Andy

Hi

We went on holiday to Adelaide with a 4 month old, when we got there we had a bottle of milk ready to feed her but we could not take it in, you are fine with jars and cartons of milk, just don't have any milk in bottles or they empty them out.

hope it helps

We took 1,5 can of baby formula (1 can was opened) and this was accepted by the customs.

We took lttle Tetrapak cartons of premade formula and AQIS were fine with them. They were unavailable in Oz, so maybe that's a wee business opportunity for someone : )
