Baby Born in Australia
Hi! All,
We have PR for Australia. We are expecting a baby in Jan next year. As I understand if our baby is born in Australia she will get the citizenship automatically. Can anyone tell me how long does it take to get the citizenship/passport, as we have to return back to our place of work, which is outside Australia. Thanks |

An Australian passport would be the best option. But there is always
the option of an Australian Declaratory Visa in the child's foreign passport: http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/p- df/931.pdf Jeremy >On Mon, 16 Sep 2002 07:59:51 +0000, ptlabs ><[email protected]> wrote: >http://www.passports.gov.au/t- >ime_required.html >Originally posted by stan: >Can anyone tell me how long does it take to get the >citizenship/passport, as we have to return back to our place of work, >which is outside Australia. >-- >Visited http://www.austimeline.com/ yet? >Posted via http://britishexpats.com |
