Average commute?

Just wondering what people call an average commute to work each day, i travel into Joondalup for my work. It takes about 15 minutes by car, O/H is looking at a 45 minute commute via car (road conditions in his favour:unsure:)
Anyone?

I take less than ten steps from my bed to my desk, same for the husband.

About an hour on the train......was 1hr 15 by car when I worked on the Gold Coast.

Few of the people I work with drive 1.5 or 2hrs each way!

I don't work, so my commute is nil :)

OH has a 3 hour round trip each day, on the train.

I travel approx 70 Kms each way to work. This journey includes, 6 kms of dirt, 50 kms of highway and approx 15 kms of city. It takes me approx 50 minutes if I am on the road before 7am.

Used to be between 1 and 1.5 hours each way to the CBD by car (door to door) during the peak ... hence the reason I am looking at other options.

I knew a couple of people who were similar but the majority seemed around 45 minutes.

I used to do a 45 min commute on a regular basis but now seek not to travel too far for any day to day activity. Tend to agree, life is too short to commute.

OH does 45 mins, and always has, and doesn't seemed bothered. Different strokes...

About 30 mins door to door - train cancellations / overcrowding permitting.
