Default auto electrician sponsorship

Dear all, My husband is a fully qualified auto electrican specialising in coaches, heavy goods vehicles and emergency vehicles. He has passed TRA. I have spent 2 years and £6,000 passing 7 exams to become a qualified Australian lawyer. We are trying to get past the tick box recrutiment system as we need a job sponsor. All we need is someone to talk to us as to date no one rings or emails us back.
Hubby has offered to work free in UK to get experience of catapillar but again no one wants to know !!! Gosh we even provide musical entertainment as my husband is an accomplished rock drummer and singer but still no luck. So any rock loving, owners of bus/lorry repairers/designers please get in touch and you can have the entertainment for free at work!!!!

I am a little confused? If he is a lawyer why is he looking to come over as a electrician?

Sponsership for electricians can happen but it would be rare - VERY rare. Most sponsorships are either within the medical industry or white collar roles such as engineers / accountants / mining proffessionals / IT.

If he is a lawyer, that would be a far better chance.

Sorry about any confusion. Hubby also has a degree in technical production ie stage manager looks like we have loads of qualifications but not the right ones!!!!. I do alot of teaching in my lawyer job and would even requalify as a teacher if that helped!!!

Hi Shelglen - my mistake i misread your post. I think your husband will struggle to get a sponsor. But, i would have thought you would be able to secure one. Though there is no harm in him trying. He might want to try the mining companies. I would be happy to drop his CV over with the manager of the auto electicians at the mine i work at. Cant make any promises, but no harm and he might at least give some feedback.

My email is [email protected]

Hope this helps
