Austudy (Training Allowance) for TAFE
 
Would you be entitled to a training allowance for a full time TAFE course on a skilled migration visa?

Definitely not in the first two years of arrival in Australia. After that I'm not sure. Ive had a brief look at the Centrelink website but it's not clear (or I can't find the relevant part). Only way to get a definitive answer is to call them and ask!

Per link below, looks like a permanent resident who has been in Australia for 2 years might be eligible.
