Australian Working Holiday Visa
Hello
I was wondering if there is anyone out there who has experience of applying for the Australian Working Holiday Visa?
I am South African but am also a British Citizen. I'm 24, have the £2000 entry requirment and am hoping to go in September.
How long does it take to get? I am planning to lodge my application this month. Is it valid for 12 months on entry or when you receive your passport back. Would there be any reason why I might be refused exept for the fact I also hold a South African Passport (The Australian website says nothing about being a national of another country and a British National)?
Any help will be greatly appreciated

If you have a UK passport I see no issues.
It is valid for a year after it has been ISSUED - ie. printed out (moreorless). You have this entire year to ENTER. (Useful if you are 30 soon etc and need to make the app like next week..)
It is then valid for 12 months after that date of initial entry. Make sure the VISA number matches your passport number as I found out to my cost. Mine didn't, so unknown to me I was issued with a ETA at the airport so noone told me until I left Sydney a year after. 3 year ban from temporary visas it cost me - but didn't effect my PR visa.
Took me 2 weeks to get - not the six they quoted.
I sent a bank statement of my 2000 squid.
