Jim,
Fair point and I would be happier if my shirt was being worn in Oz!! By me!! Not by some snotty trader!! (Not that my trader was snotty, but it just struck me he is one of the guys we are all baying for blood over the state of the stock market and financial system.....)
By the way, HIFX don't take credit cards...............so you would need to pay via credit card cheque or with draw from card in cash, which is a cash withdrawal and doesn't generally count as interest free.

got a limit in for 2.7 but wondering whether to take the near high 2.6's first thing in case it doesn't quite make it to the magical 2.7 and a little bit I need.......decisions decisions. Laughable isn't it. A few weeks ago I'd have just dreamed at anything like this rather than dither over fractions of cents.
What do people reckon the finanicial meetings in washington tomorrow will do to the rate?

I am emigrating in March so who thinks the exchange rate will hit 2.75 before then. I am thinking of setting this as my exchange rate or do you think it could ever hit $3
