Is it possible to do an Australian degree o nline in the Uk so I can apply to Australia once I passed it??

Check out Open Learning Australia (don't have the site address handy but it is easy to find) , they offer courses and even degrees through many of major aus. universities by mail. Not the cheapest way to go but they are "real", recognized courses and unis!

ps. you still need to check out with DIMIA if this will qualify you for whatever visa you are applying for.

If you think an Australian degree obtained by distance learning will get you points for an Australian qualification then think again - it won't.

The Skilled Migration Booklet should explain the details, but the bottom line is that DIMIA insists on at least 2 years physical presence studying in Australia as one of the requirements.

Distance learning won't do. Nor does study at a non-Australian campus of an Australian university.

An Australian degree obtained by distance learning might be a help with skill assessment (or it might not - depends on circumstances) and it might or might not help you in the job market, but it won't give you general skilled migration points.
