Angry Australian craftmanship at its best

Notice the bowed roof truss above the left side of the window.

To be honest it's only today that I've been to have a really close look, I was pissed off with the windows and noticed some of the stud work.

But it's all like it all the nails are rusty, so if they don't do anything about it I'll go there with some wood a chopsaw and some brass screws and reinforce near to where the worst ones are.

I'm going to try and get the construction manager to do a walk through with me.

I mean everything I own has gone into it

I'm just looking forward to reading the apologists comments – excusing this short of shoddiness.

I’ve been banging on about dreadful building standards in Australian houses since I arrived here.

It’s extremely difficult to find something well-built. One of the things noted by most visitors from England that we’ve had has been the poor quality building here in Perth.

When you see photos like yours and place them in the context of all the ridiculous licensing rules forced on people by the unions and associations it shows those groups up for what they are – money-making controllers of the supply of labour.

None of it is about ensuring quality.

Why would you like to use them

Porter Davis.

We've just been round to have a look at Bhoywonders build as using the same builder and it's fine you can't see any nails or gaps.
