Default Australian citizenship

Been here (Melbourne) for th last ten months and loving it, so much so we cant wait till we become citizens!! Just how long do we have to be here before we can apply?

See the criteria on www.citizenship.gov.au
The rules are likely to have changed by the time you can apply. It's currently 2 years but is expected to be raised to 3.
I'm assuming you are here as permanent residents.
