I have read on here that IT jobs seem to get preferential processing. Is this the only category that gets 'fast track processing'. I have recently applied for Independent Skilled Migration to the Adelaide Office. My job, as a Chartered Accountant, is on the MODL list. Does being on this list and also completing the Skill Matching Section speed things up at all or not?. If so, how long, assuming I sent off Medical, police etc with the form, can I expect to wait for my visa to be granted.

Thanks

Hi Leeta,

Skill matching can, in rare or contrived cases, speed up the process. But being on
the MODL does not give you priority processing.

Cheers
