Who are the main advertisers and clients of International Living - bet they are in the top 10?

I think more research needs to be done on this company before we can can take this survey seriously. It just looks like an advertorial for their clients to me and not an independent survey.
I ignore all these things. They are all a load of bollocks, unbiased or not.

Agreed. I mean how can Australia or the UK score so high for infrastructure! Both are pretty poor for public transport.

Like Singapore or Hong Kong?

I am very well travelled thanks. Not sure what that has to do with my comment about UK/Aus infrastructure.

Singapore/Hong Kong/Japan/China and S.Korea may well have in cities great transport systems, however outside of these places across whole of S.E Asia the public transport is not a touch on UK/Oz, neither is that of the Americas, Middle East, Africa in fact i'd say at least 75% of the world

If you're comparing London Transport/City rail in Syd to Switzerland's public transport then obviously the Swiss will win, however comparing it to that in say Los Angeles it's so much better.

It seems every second hollywood film has an Aussie actor in it these days.

Also Aboriginal culture is the oldest culture in the world. The sydney Opera house the most famous Opera house in the world.
Russell Crowe, along with Split Enz, Dragon, Rebecca Gibney, Crowded House (1 Aussie), Mark Williams, the pavlova, etc etc are ALL Kiwis born and bred...just moved to OZ. Mel Gibson and Nicole Kidman are American by birth.

Like ACDC. The great "Australian band" which was formed by two Scots and has a geordie lead singer.

Been through this before. They spent their formative years here and are completely Australian and consider themselves as such. Ditto Nicole Kidman.
If you insist on birthplace=nationality, none of the following are British;

Sir Ben Kingsley
Joanna Lumley
Sir Cliff Richard
George Orwell
Rudyard Kipling
Freddy Mercury and a great many others.
This is a pointless argument. You are what you want to be.

Nope, not having it.

If the Irish can claim anybody who drinks Guinness and owns a wolf hound as an Irishman, and the Aussies claim anybody who can spell Qantas in under four attempts as Australian, I'm claiming ACDC as Brits.... whether they bloody like it or not.
