I got a few queries regarding properties in Australia and I hope someone can share some opinion. Thanks.

Can a foreigner buy a house/apartment in Australia (Sydney)?

Is there any condition (any catch)?

Is there any differences in terms of getting loans from the bank if you are a non-Australian or Australian PR or student? In fact, can a non-Australian get loan from Australian bank to buy properties?

Is there any law restriction saying that I must only buy a property to live but not renting out (i.e. investment)?

Where can I get more information on this please?
