Hi Debbie - I have checked out a few and they're nowhere near as informative or as well presented as this one so I don't bother with any others.

Actually, I reckon Aussiemove is really good, and focused very much on Perth, Bunbury and surrounds. Definitely check it out - www.aussiemove.com.

Which forums you want to consult for information will really depend hugely on what your interests are - here a few (all good Australian forums):

Parenting/Kids: www.essentialbaby.com.au
Internet/Telephony/Technology: www.whirlpool.net.au
Motorcycling: www.netrider.com.au

etc etc pick your topic and go for it.

FWIW I reckon this forum is one of the better ones for Immigration advice - although www.*************.au can be ok sometimes too.

Re: Australia Forums

I use www.************* most of the time and find the migration section a lot busier than on here but I think it is because there are a lot more agents there offering advice.
For Perth have you tried http://www.perthpoms.com ?

I looked at Aussiemove but there were only 22 members online, whereas Pomsinoz had 429 and British Expats had 269, so I think these two are your best bet.

I think BE and PIO are your best bets for getting lots of different opinions due to their massive membership base.
As others have mentioned there are lots of smaller forums out there but for size and quality info the 2 i name above are by far the best imo.

Yeah, but then you have to become sane again to be able understand anyone on those fora. :D
