Default Australia ~ for me ??

I am 28 years old, IT professional with Pakistan nationality working for a major company in dubai, UAE. I have 9 years work quality experience. I am married with 2 children; 1=11 months 2=20 days.

Is Australia the place for me to be..?

I have a masters degree in Computer Science; Diploma in Information Processing and a Certification from City and Guilds of London.

I am also a certified Computer Systems Security Professional.

Help me nice people; guide me.

God bless you.

Regards,

Azam

Hi Azam

It's hard to say whether Australia is for you or not, but try looking at some of these sites...they should help you make up your mind. It is a wonderful place to bring up children though!!

http://www.immi.gov.au/
http://www.australia.org.uk/ahc/
http://www.gomatilda.com/

They will give you more information.

Hi Azam

is anything any good for any of us?
Who knows..........
But if you think something is worth getting go get it otherwise you will always think I wish I had done.......
if you don't like it you can always go some where else.
Life is to short to NOT do what you feel like.
So go for it and never regret your decision for every decision is a learning experience.

How can you expect any of the people on this group, who have never met you, and know
nothing about you, to tell you whether *you* should go to Australia or not?

There's plenty of information available online, if you're willing to spend the time
and energy finding it. And if you want someone to guide you through the whole system,
then you need to hire an agent.

Azam,

Last I looked at the DIMA site, CISSP was in the MODL list. What this means is you
could possibly get extra points for it.

Please read the DIMA handbook that you could buy from DIMA website. That should give
you clear idea if you can or cannot qualify.

Oh before you do anything, you may want to visit ACS's website and download the forms
for skill assessment. www.acs.org.au. With a recognized master's degree in Computer
Science and if you have CISSP you should have no problem getting 60 points for skill
plus MODL points also.

Good luck

../Leo
