We got a really good deal in Costco the other week - 6 bottles of Hardys chardonnay for around £22.00 including VAT - all went in less than a week though so maybe not such a bargain after all!

Wolf Blass shiraz grenache, se aus wine is awesome for the money about £5 at Sainsburys. Oh and it's a 14% wine too!
The others in the range are tops but a bit pricey. Off on a booze cruise to france soon to stock up for Christmas LMS

Badgers Creek. A real cheapy fron Aldi. £3 a bottle and very tasty. I guess its a kind of take on Jacobs Creek, but a lot cheaper.

Had to reply this one, as I do love my wine, although I must cut down as I think I'm getting a wine belly!!

I'm afraid I wasn't too keen on the Banrock Station. I always manage to but a decent wine on offer somewhere and my local Baragain Booze always have 3 for a tenner deals, quite often on Stowells, where one of those is produced in Oz. Brown Brothers do a lovely white and red. I've been buying a bottle called Prospect Hill Colomabrd/Chardonnay, which is on offer in Morissons at £2.99. Not bad, eh?

I have to say though, my favourite wine is definately Californian, and my fave bottle is Ernest & Julio's Colombard.

Good ones are Penfolds and Lindemanns as well as Rosemount Estate or Oxford Landing.
Best wine deal at the moment is called Creston Bay Cabernet Shiraz available in LIDL for a standard price of £2.99!!!! Tastes MUCH better than it costs if you know what I mean.
Happy drinking...might go and have a glass or two of it now actually!

We had the calloway crossing CAB SAV. with lunch yesterday and really enjoyed it.:-)) Having said that I'm a fan of most Ozzie wines!!

Didn't like the white Banrock station, but can't stop thinking about the red!!!! Weird... have never felt this way about a particular brand of wine or anything!!! (and no, I'm not pregnant!)

Don't like red wine much at all, but when I find a nice white, I can't stop thinking about getting the kids to bed and drinkning it. Oh dear, I'm getting a bit carried away thinking about wine, I'm sure it's just that I was pregnant for nearly 2 years (work that one out!!) and I've been making up ever since.
