Any info on Oz lingo anyone.
I know that 'thongs' means shoes.
Imagine - 'Darling, I'm away to slip on my slinky thongs I bought' !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anymore would be appreciated

"STUBBY" = SMALL BOTTLE OF BEER

"SLAB" = CRATE OF ABOVE

Sleeping and Beer all good useful stuff!!!!! I must be looking at Aus through rose tinted glasses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to laugh at that one though "thongs" when I first came here.
I heard the British Press got excited when they thought Kylie was coming out in a Thong in the Sydney Games - lol (she was on a flip-flop)
