Remember the Australian birth cert proves absolutely nothing about his citizenship status. He needs his own citizenship cert to avoid hassles later on trying to prove his citizenship - use form 119 and pay AUD55 to get it:
http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/119.pdf
Also don't assume he's British until you have obtained him a British passport. Best to do that immediately as if there's a problem it can usually be fixed by registration. Lots of people get a nasty surprise later on when they discover their child isn't British when they thought he or she was.

I have to say I cannot praise the Hospital and staff enough. A thoroughly different experience to the UK, but I suppose that's private for you
If you have to have a c section, then this is the place to have it. Quite surprised at the amount of of non-medical sections performed, but it's all about freedon of choice.
We are totally thrilled. Missing family a bit though.

Have you thought about selling it? Honestly babies are worth a fair bit these days!
Try Ebay to start off with. If you get no luck try "Saudi life" (blonds get higher prices).

Congraulations on your new arrival. What a beautiful name you have given him too.
I am sure your family will be over to see the new baby soon.

Congratulations Jones Family and welcome baby Finn!
We were wondering where you'd got to in the "Obscure Rules" thread, you probably won't get a chance to read it all for a while but it did get quite amusing in the end!
Take care
