Default AUS pets destination address

Hi All,

I am in the process of completing the application form for an export permit for our dog. I am stumped on one question, and I apologise if I am being thick, what do I put for name of importer and destination address? We do not have an address in Aus as yet, do we put the quarantine station? Am I the exporter and importer?? I think all this paperwork is making my mind addled!!!

Any help gratefully received.

Hi Sarah, you are the exporter and the importer. I put down my parents address, but
they do know that the addresses will change - ultimately they need it for sending the
"final bill" before you can get them out. If you want clarification from AQIS
directly, just email them - I don't have the email address handy, but should be easy
to find on their web site (www.aqis.gov.au). I emailed them with a bunch of questions
from what do they feed them while in quarantine to how long is the import permit
REALLY valid for! They were very approachable and helpful, though not necessarily
quick on the responses. Orur cat and dog are off to Eastern Creek from the US on May
14th - we'll get them back at the end of June....
