Anyone any news of the progress in PR visa's, anyone from December 2001, heard anything or are they still in November?

We applied Jan 2000, hoping they have'nt used all the visa's yet.

Did you see GMTV in Perth on Christmas Day? How green did that make you?

Processing Times

I applied in October 2001 for general skilled immigration at Aus' house London. I also spoke to them via telephone in early November and was told that they were curretnly processing applications from October 2000! That seems to back up the fact that the processing time is at least 12 months. I may wish to point out that i have applied under a category that is on the MODL list but is not 'IT specialist'.

we applied July 2001, medicals were sent in 2 0ct 2001 and got the visa 13 December
2001, not bad considering how long its taking for some people. That was with London
office too and was IT fast tracked.
