Aus citizen ok to work in NZ
HI All
Just wanted to know if i get Australian citizenship, does this entitle me to work and live in NZ without getting another visa? I know this used to work the other way round, but i'd heard that Oz government were trying to change the rules.

You have no problem at all. I am an Australian and live and work in New Zealand. As
an Australian citizen you have the same rights and entitlements as a New Zealander if
you chose to move or work here.

Re: Aus citizen ok to work in NZ
To add to this, an Australian can apply for New Zealand citizenship
after 3 years resident in NZ, or 2 years if married to a New
Zealander.
Since 4 April 2002, acquiring NZ citizenship this way has no longer
caused loss of Australian citizenship.
