Association for a Carpenter

Hi

We are heading over to Perth on 2nd October.:eek:

Hubbie is a carpenter and, he has been told he may find it easier to find a job if he was a member of an association. Can anyone back this up and also recommend any?

Is there anything else that will help get work other than the visa of course!
