Thats right
England would have been able to bat for more sessions thus extending their lead (probably over 500) and then having more time to get 10 Aussie wickets. It certainly would have made the job a hell of a lot easier than 10 wickets in 1 day. I think if 5 days would have been played England would have won comfortably. Nice to have the aussies on the back foot thanking the rain gods for a change. Lets hope they hear our prayers if we are to need them in the final 2 tests. Now on to the home of cricket Trent Bridge.

Such a shame that the greta English Summer stopped an England win......but cracking entertainment all the same.

Never mind. Psychologically we beat them, and i know who will be feeling more confident for the next one!
Yet again another fantastic match and well done both teams. I reckon poor Jason Gillespie will be dropped though. |

Whats wrong with the English bowlers? Why cant they get McGrath out? He is the only one so far this series to not get out. :D
