Hi,
Does anyone know anything about this process I only discovered it by accident last night, I just wondered if this was a process that I will have to go through when I get to OZ, does anyone know if this applies to Queensland? I work as a LSAP Linesman in the UK, and have been accepted by the TRA.

There are 2 elements to TRA - the first is the pre-migration assessment, which is used for migration purposes only, the second is the application for an Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (ARTC). The ARTC is needed if you wish to be recognised as a tradesperson in Australia. Many State and Territory licensing authorities will not issue a license until you have obtained an ARTC.

Thanks
Ben&Jill
