I am on a 457 sponsorship visa and have asked my employer about the LAFHA as there is another employee sponsored here on the same visa also from the UK who receives this benefit. The HR dept has said that they will not do it for me as it is too much work for them and they wish they hadn't set it up for the other employee.

Does anyone know if I could receive this benefit if I had my own accountant to do all the admin paperwork on my HR depts behalf?
