can anyone give advice on transfering from the british army to the australian army????
there is nothing on the net???

ever thought about looking at the recuitment section of the Australian army website? :rolleyes:

under FAQs - Does one have to be an Australian Citizen?

For full-time entry applicants must be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status. For part-time entry an applicant must be an Australian citizen or have applied for Australian citizenship. Proof of application is required and if the application is rejected service will be terminated.

i have, but the ozzy army can't be seen to poach from uk army and therefore there is no info online, or not as far as we can find anyway. Do you know of any info online then?:)

come on then viewers there must be some opinions out there! are are you all uk army guys thinking the same (transfering to oz army) there must be some info out there for the amount of views this message has had?

Hi,

We're potentially looking at a transfer for my husband from the RN to the RAN once his 22 years in the RN are up. I've got the contact details for the person in the RAN - maybe if you contacted him he could put you in touch with his Army equivalent? Let me know if you want to give that a try.....

Yes, but it gives you very little info. Do a search for SCMA.
