ARGHHHHHH - Birkenstocks can't be shipped to Australia?! WHY?!
I've tried other websites before now with no joy, but today tried amazon.com and hey, guess what, THEY WON'T SHIP BIRKENSTOCKS TO AUSTRALIA?! What I don't understand though, is why!?

Amazon, for whatever reason, are selective on what they will ship outside the US.

You can actually buy them here - there's a shop in Indooripilly shopping centre that sells them. Much dearer than US though - maybe try one of the US/AUS agents like shipitto.com or priceusa.com (recently mentioned on threads here)

Check ebay, should be full of them and worldwide delivery. Failing that TK Max here have been selling loads , perhaps get a relative to post them over?
Is there usually a problem getting delivery to Austrailia for stuff?

Thanks Audrey, I've contacted an ebay seller to see what they will charge for delivery etc. And yes, in answer to your question, as Australia is MAHOOSIVE shopping by ye olde t'internet can prove expensive!
