Have you considered speaking to one of the specialist currency firms? They should have a view on where the Aussie $ is going, and will be able to offer you a forward rate, whereby they guarantee a rate for you in a month from now.

Hmm, they seem to want a minimum contract of stg200K to put a stop loss or limit on the contract. From talking to www.moneycorp.co.uk I think they don't have this constraint. But I could be wrong

Anyway, it's kinda fun sitting at work hitting F5 every 10 mins

I saw the opinion that by New Year AUD/USD is expected around 0.6. AUD daily movements and some comments you can find here: http://www.stgeorge.com.au/code/trea...c=institution. Against Euro it does not move as much.

Hi Anon.

I believe a stop/loss contract isn't the same as a forward contract - hifx seem to require a minimum sum for the former, but not the latter.

Best regards.
