Aren't BA great!
The question about frequent flier points just reminded me. Two years ago I had a BA silver card, but it was due to run out in October of that year, and I was a few points shy of the total required to retain it after we arrived in Oz. I didn't care, as I didn't intend fly much after we got here.
But then I got an email from them saying that as I was close to the required total they would renew it for another year.That was last October.
I've just received an email from them saying they apologise for all the disruption and distress their recent strikes and catering problems have caused me (I haven't flown in the last year), and they will renew my silver card for another year!
Its a pity I can't transfer it to people more worthy of it i.e. people who actually fly to places
I would auction it on eBay as the never-ending BA Silver card, but it has my name on it.
