Aqwa - worth a visit?

My wife is in the UK at the moment which means I have my son to look after by myself. I'm thinking of taking him to Aqwa tomorrow. Is it any good or not worth the effort/money?

Definitely worth a visit.

We went to see some friends in Perth from our home in Melbourne. While wandering around AQWA, I met a former workmate who had moved to the Pilbarra- so great place to bump into people!

We went there whilst in Perth in November/December - was good - although some parts (the seals outside) were not open for viewing (although they never mentioned that at the entrance when we paid). I thought it was fairly expensive as you can't spend a whole afternoon in there - we were in and out in less than two hours.....and then needed somewhere else to go to amuse our daughter! She did enjoy the outside pond bit where they can hold starfish etc though - that was nice....:D

Its in the Northern Suburbs and will be full of Poms so you shouldn't bother. Take a look at your post Number 5 and your quote on line 3:p

Only visiting dude, only visiting.:p We were in, spent 90mins there and out! Did not hang around. There were plenty of poms there as well, with the football shirts, crap tattoos etc.
It's a very good aquarium. My son loved it. Well worth a visit - even if it is a bit expensive.
