Default AQIS. how picky???

Having spent the last 2 days steam cleaning and disinfecting my fine little collectiion of power tools, I was just wandering how closer an inspection AQIS make.

You see, I've just spent the last 4 hours stripping down a power plane and putting it back together again. Sodding minature ball bearings, spent most of tht time on me hands a knees looking for the damm thing.

All in all, I reckon they're pretty clean but I can't swear there is NO sawdust in them (I'm pretty sure every ball bearing is missing though ). AQIS are going to have to look pretty close to find anything.

So what do folks reckon.

Aqis are more intrested in things that have been in contact with soil than ,power tools ,as long as they are clean and dusted you will be ok ,if they see you have put the effort in you will be less likely , to get a good going over, remember AQIS has a lot of power ,they can delay or hold up release of your shipment for as long as they desire, due to non-compliance with Quarantine laws so read your booklets or go to their web sight, WWW.AFA.GOV.AU we are up to are eye balls in shipments at the moment, due to usa military movements ,and we can,t get them to move any quicker, we have had 5 shipments this month alone just from the UK.....
