Default APS courses and accreditation

Has anyone had a UK BSc Psychology degree accredited by the APS to apply for a place on a postgrad course in Oz? I am planning to study for my Masters in Clinical Psych.

I have contacted the APS and they said degrees from outside Oz were assessed on an individual basis. However, if my degree (which is accredited in the UK by the BPS) isnt up to scratch in Oz and I cant study at postgrad level or register with a state, then I am pretty stuck career wise and my UK degree would be useless.
Just wondered if anyone had any experience of this... success stories welcome to put my mind at rest :-)

Thanks
