Approximate earnings for a Painter and Decorator
Hi there,
My husband and I are still at the research point of the process and would be looking to get to Aus on his job skills - P&D. He has 24 years experience and has been self employed for 17 years. We would be looking to head to the regions of WA on a SIR visa. Having checked out a few recruitment websites there are VERY few jobs for him and the rate of pay is not great. If they are throwing up so many houses and buildings and are paying brickies $1200 a day then surely they require P&D's to finish them off??
Our friends who live in Butler have a Pom P&D friend who supposedly earns $2500 per week but we have only found evidence to the contrary.
Does anyone have any experiences they can share to shed some light on the situation?
Thanks, The Sandersons
