Default Application: is it there yet?

Hi everyone,
We sent our application by "international signed for" last week and I keep checking the royal mail site and all it keeps saying is;
Your item with reference xxxxxxxxxxxxx has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery.

How long should it take?

I just knew I shpuld have sent it DHL

Unfortunately that is all it will ever say as the Royal Mail don't track it any further than that.

Our applications to the ACS have arrived within a couple of days of the Royal Mails website showing this (luckily the ACS are quite prompt at confirming receipt and taking money from the credit card so I knew fairly quickly they had got there).
