Application sent

Hi all
just thought I'd update you, agent received visa application today (Monday). I asked him when he would be posting the application to DIMA and he confirmed that it will go by courier this evening. :) Even as i type this it should be winging it's way to Adelaide. Agent said that acknowledgement will probably take 6 - 8 weeks as they have a backlog at the moment.

At least we can sit back and relax now that it's gone. Got plenty of time to save up for medicals now apparently.

Ooh, bet that feels good mate :D

Ours will be off to our lovely agent this week so that when (if :o ) the ACS assessment comes back, it can go straightto DIMA.

Fingers crossed for you,

Gill

Ages!

We're MODL so should be priority but from the looks of the timelines lately they're really struggling to get them processed. I reckon we'll be sent for our meds around December/January, possibly February

Will you be going to the panel doctors in Handsworth Wood?
when are you hoping to go and where?

Yes Handsorth Wood is quite close to us so that's where we'll be heading.

Probably Perth, not sure when, middle of next year maybe :)

How about you?

I wish :o If we'd have gotten our STNI last year, we probably would, but failing that and having to wait 6 months to resubmit has held us back.

Hubby used to work for Wyre Forrest council and one of his mates there has got his visa. He's off to Adelaide and has asked John if when we all get there, he wants to set up a business together. Thats one of the reasons we opted for Adelaide.

Not sure if John's going to work with him though as he talks for England and they probably wouldn't get much work done. he's a good tradee (all rounder) so that would be a bonus if we could shut him up long enough :D
