Default Application on its way at last how long now?

DHL picked up all our forms for skilled indpendent migration today. Ive heard it takes about 8-9 months to hear back for meds but if meds are ok how long after that do you find out whether youve been accepted or not?

cheers

Hi,

I just made it to send the application last week. The applicatin will be delivered on Wednesday. I think from then on its a game of waiting and testing the patience. I think we should also get points for that.

Cheers

What do you mean bond to lodge. I hope for skilled independent you don't need any bond.

Could you please clarify..

Thanx

well..... 'cos you have lodged NOW and not after 14th april, you only need 115 points. If you have 115 points without having to lodge the bond, then- GREAT.

Some people have 110 points and have to lodge a bond with the aussies for 1 year to gain them the extra 5 points, which brings them up to 115 points.

Have you not used an agent?

If not, then maybe you woulden't know about this, either how, good luck.

Thanks mate,

I do use an agent but as you know stress can make you think lot of things.

So that's the reason I posted the reply.

Cheers
