apple/sponsor needed for teacher!

apple/sponsor needed for teacher!
anyone got any bright ideas?
we need a sponsor to teach at secondary level in Victoria, preferably South/east Melbourne area.(too old for skilled migration but our subjects are in demand)
we are in process of gathering evidence/ info. which could take up to six weeks, to register to teach in VIC. Vic education dept are upgrading computers so no point in posting resume before early July. they have actually been helpful and think sponsorship is a possibility. just want to turn it into a reality!
i am posting this here as it will get more viewings than the teaching forum and we could get some good advice from people other than teachers.
however, any advice from secondary teachers would be welcome. Bezzandbob, could you give more info on DT in OZ?
are we stupid to give up good jobs in a lovely part of the country?

Have you thought about emailing some schools directly to see if they will sponsor you? If they have vacancies and are finding it hard to fill them they may well do this.
Look up a list of schools online and send an email out to them all with your qualifications experience etc and the position you
can offer. It is worth remembering that you need to have 2 subjects here to teachg secondary i.e ITC and maths not just one.
