Apartment search in Sydney
Hi,
After finally made the visa process, I will start working in Sydney for 6 months in June. We (my wife and I) will then look for a job opportunity in Adelaide and relocate as soon as one of us gets a job there. We thought about renting a small apartment (2 bedroom) for the transition period in Sydney. I will work in North Ryde so anything in that area would make sense. We thought about something in the Lane Cove Area, but I think its difficult to decide without seen it. Any suggestions which area you can recommend? Would you risk to rent an apartment in advance without having seen it (except on photos) or would you suggest to use a guesthouse for the first days and look for an apartment on site? Thx Cheers Carsten |

First we thought about shipping it directly to Adelaide and take a furnished apartment in Sydney, but now we think it would be better to ship it directly to Sydney, take an unfurnished apartment and maybe let all the stuff we won't need in the boxes until we moved to Adelaide. I hope a 2 bedroom apartment would be sufficent as interim storage and domicil for us :o . |
