I am applying under the skilled australian sponsored category and am unclear about the AOS.
Do I have to submit the AOS form along with the Migration and Sponsorship forms? What is the AOS process?
Thanks to anyone who can help me here

Have you visited austimeline.com? You can enter your details of your application and see how long it is taking others to go through the process. Very interesting. Good luck!

Much later on, when you receive your AoS request, DIMIA will send you a letter that you forward to your assurer (who may or may not be the same peson as your sponsor) and they take that letter along with them to their Centrelink interview. If approved as assurer, they lodge a bond with Commonwealth Bank of Australia (plus a fee of $150 to open the account!) and take the receipt back to Centrelink. Centrelink then notify DIMIA that bond has been lodged. This is brief so read more in the websites.
