I was just wondering if anyone had any advice or any idea on what the insurers would pay out on my old Nissan Sunny that was stolen last week? It was a '93 model with 123k miles on the clock. I ask because the excess is £220 and I'm wondering whether I'd just be better off cancelling the insurance rather than claiming because it'll effect my no claims bonus and I can't see it being worth much more than the excess. Does anyone know what they base the value of the car on? Any advice would be much appreciated.
