Anyone want to.....
.........offer my hubby a sponsored job???
Well you dont get if you dont ask
He's an AV Technician/ Project Manager and just found out we cant get in with the SOL
so sponsored visa may be the only way, has anyone had any experience with getting a sponsorship when you have no contacts out there? How do you go about it? Were gonna send out some cv's and hope for the best
Lots of "yeah, weve managed it " stories would be good right now

Hi,
We didn't have enough points to get our own visa so had to go through the sponsored route. OH contacted companies similar to the one he currently works for and managed to get one.

Go straight to the recruitment consultancies, do a search on the web, ' Recruitment Agencies Australia' , 'Jobs Australia', 'Australian Jobs' it won't be long before you find jobs and recruiters. We have used them very sucessfully and found them to be very professional. We are going on a 457 visa. What field its your OH in, not sure what a AV Technician is but there are LOADS of project mangement jobs out there and most of the big companies are keen to sponsors good people.

Well emailed a load of companies out of the yellow pages last night and this morning already had one reply asking how soon could he start!
