Got an option on two different furnished rentals, one with pool, one without and a price differential to match. Is it worth paying a premium for a month for the pool?

Guess it depends whether it is heated or not.

Ours isn't heated and is starting to cool down now; by May I certainly won't be going in it! Day temperatures will be down and the cool nights will be starting.

Kids might use a pool but only for a quick 'dip'. Weather is starting to 'wind down' here now.

all the best

Will they supply pool cleaning equipment or a pool cleaner company to regularly maintain it? I'd bargain on it a bit now as summer is over.

Only just said to hubby we may get another months use if we are lucky, and ours is not heated. If you are new from the UK though you may get some use as you wouldn't have aclimatised so pack a cossie just incase.

If you've just had a cold Winter. Yep, you will handle it. But you sure as hell wont this time next year :-)

You have 2 options

1. Give it a miss, its a rental home and not worth the hassle.
2. If you are only renting for the short term, try it, it will influence your choice/decision when you go to buy a house.
