I have an excellent opportunity to import a product (golf related) from the UK but need to get a loan to finance the initial stock shipment and distribution licence. However, having only been here since mid April, we don't have any property as security. I have looked at some of the unsecured options, but they are high interest rates. We will be getting the money through from our house sale soon (fingers crossed) and could use some of that. Depending on whether we use some of our money or not, we will need to borrow somewhere between $50,000 to $130,000.

Anyone else been through this at all ?
