Make sure you get an apartment away from the car park or the Hoons will keep you up. We had to ask to be moved, not just the hoons but the wind blows a hooley - it's loud!

We stayed there in April this year.
I would say Ozzie 4* standards are clearly not the same as British so beware.
Negative points:
Bathroom was filthy. Tiles cracked and broken. Bathroom floor had not been cleaned. Only 2 hand towels provided for a family of 3. Apartment not hoovered (there was sand all over the floor) before we went in. Sofas were saggy and one was broken. Kitchen not cleaned before we went in.
Limited opening reception hours.
Apartments not serviced every day.
Positive points:
Resort itself is lovely if a bit touristy. Good restaurants for all price ranges from fish and chips (really yummy) to quite expensive sit down places.
Good beach, playground (incl trampos, bouncy castle, rides, etc for kids), Nice but small waterpark with a kiosk selling hot food.
Reception Staff at apartments were lovely and helpful when they were there.
Felt secure as you get a key for entry/exit to apartments.
We would not stay there again but would definitely visit the resort without a doubt. The WA aquarium is next door to resort and worth a visit.
Just a tip for anyone who has a massage outside the shops. I got caught out. The massage is advertised at a certain price but the guy whacks on these pressure pads without asking you and then tells you they are 10$ each. If you complain he suddenly reduces the price to 5$. His mates stand there to make sure there is no aggro and you are virtually forced into buying another set of pressure pads which are just really plasters!! Luckily my 6ft 2in built like a rugby player husband was there and we managed to negotiate the price. So either agree on the price before you have it done and ask if there's any extra costs or get conned.
